Featured sail type
The Code Zero is the missing link between your up-and downwind sails. It comes in different designs, suited optimally to the rating-/class rules and the rest of your sail inventory. It will be a lightweight sail that is set flying, furled on an anti-torsion cable in the luff which makes it quick to set and retrieve. The sail is designed to work optimally in tight angles depending on the wind speed. You can also choose cable-free code zero made in a trioptimal layout from a code zero laminate with a high-density fiber luff, that makes up for the cable. This is truly a sail that makes a difference especially inlower winds. The sail goes significantly deeper than a conventional code zero with cable, due to the positive luff. And not to forget very easy to roll and use. Also perfect for single-hand and cruising.We will together with you find the best solution regarding type of fibers and surface combinations.
Material
The sail cloth is designed especially for the Code Permanent Hoist, and either in a Polyester Ripstop weave reinforced by adding a polyester scrim and a single sidedfilm. The single sided film keeps the laminate “open” and “breathable”. The UV-protection used for this sail is our Solar texadhesive UV guard, which is added on thefilm side of the sail. Or our Epexfilm/film in a lightweight and high performing membrane. The Technora or Carbon fiber is a high-performance fiber with high tenacity and low elongation, improving the shape
